Random Irritation #539

Today I had to run to Office Max to buy some supplies for the office. As I usually do, I used the Amex card to check out. Well right there, on the counter, big as life, is a sign that tells you not to set your credit cards on it as it can demagnetize them. So what does the chicky that is checking me out do? You bet your sweet ass she did, put it right on top of it! I snatched it up as quick as I could and then asked her if she was familiar with the sign. You would have thought that I had asked her what newspapers she reads or to explain her foreign policy experience! Needless to say, she will not be helping me out anymore.
