Tin Roof.....RUSTED!

Some people wonder why it is that it is taking my husband a month to reshingle our roof. I realize it is not that big of a roof and I am sure that there are a lot of guys who could get it done faster. There are also a lot of men who could not do it at all and would have to pay for it. However, it takes him that long because a) he is the stay at home dad and has no time during the day b) he is a perfectionist and that just normally leads to things taking longer c) shit like this happens:


Why yes, that is one big ass hole in our roof! (not to be confused with a big asshole, it is all in the emphasis)


This is his dads truck, on its side, across the street from our house. He was picking up a trailer that had all the old shingles on it, fortunately he was not attached to the trailer yet. Unfortunately he forgot to put the emergency brake on. No major damage was done, but it is funny as hell now.
